This week, you have the opportunity to work on your OBOROVÁ PRÁCE (PROJECT PAPER) and to send your annotation for checking (if it´s in English of course) :)

Don´t forget to check the gallery with your awesome Country Projects.

April 27 - 30

I hope you liked last week´s vocabulary and I have a topic for a PROJECT I hope you´ll enjoy.

Instructions - important parts are in bold.

Think about a country you don´t know that well and find all the interesting facts about it. If you don´t want to sit at the computer, use a map, your geography notebook or textbook, an atlas or a globe if you have one :)

You can find pictures and print them or draw them  -  but you don´t have to if you can´t print or don´t like drawing.

A good idea would be to describe the map of the country in English!

Your project should be colourful, nicely written and have the basic information in English.

basic info: the flag, the capital city and 3 biggest cities, population, 1 airport, 1 bridge/tunnel, borders (seas, beaches/ states), 1 national park, geographical location (where is it on Earth?), 1 lake, 1 river, mountains, typical weather

extra info: official language, seaport, head of state, religion, currency, valley/gorge, regions, industry

You don´t need to write a text this time - it can be just sentences, bullet points or comments for pictures.

***voluntary part: If you want to, we can meet on GoogleMeet and you can present your project on Thursday April 30th at 1pm (but you have to let me know by Wednesday 6pm)

March 23-27

Last week you worked hard and created some awesome mindmaps! Look at the gallery below.

This week the challenge is to write your own recipe and send me a picture of it/the file :)

If you need a little bit of motivation, I recommend watching MasterChef Junior in English here.

In your recipe, there should be a picture, a list of ingredients and directions step by step.

After I get all the recipes, I will create our own cookbook and post it here, it´s gonna be so cool!
